Guardian’s intuitive reporting engine provides all the detail needed to understand and interpret activity. Real-time logs sit alongside reporting templates that can show detailed information on users, sites and  trends.  The system has flexible access controls that allow administrators to set time and room based rules and a user portal gives local control to authorized staff, who can override filtering - so inadvertent blocks do not interfere with browsing.  In the school/education library environment it is possible to generate reports to see what students have been accessing during lessons, and check the status of temporarily banned users.
